Survivor is part of three folklore themed portraits painted in the style of oil painting on a digital canvas in Photoshop. This is the Little Red Riding Hood theme. While we call the story Little Red Riding Hood, the story we tell hasn’t truly been about Red, it’s really a story about the wolf, it begins when the wolf meets her and it ends when the wolf dies. This, however, is not where it ends for Red. She must forever carry her ordeal with the Wolf with her, her experience continues and she must learn how she will carry it.

The model for Red is my dear friend Stephanie, who has always been an advocate for justice for victims of sexual assault.
