An illustration I did for a book printing class my senior year. I enjoyed Baba Yaga as a folklore figure. Instead of a broom, as we often envision witches flying on, she flies on a pestle and mortar. I envisioned her surfing through the sky on an overturned mortar, fueled by magic powders she had ground up.
